Agenda 6:00 pm: Doors Open --- Hosted By Lindsay Markel, Event + Partnerships Manager (HQ) Lindsay manages Events & Partnerships at Startup Grind. She focuses on Startup Grind's Global and Europe Conferences, bringing thousands of founders and thought leaders together for networking, education and inspiration. She also heads up local events and content for the San Francisco and Silicon Valley Chapters. Lindsay holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from UCLA. She now lives in San Francisco. Judy Chang, Marketing Manager (HQ) Judy is the "Marketing Entrepreneur” at Startup Grind. Grew up in Taiwan, New Zealand and San Francisco, Judy is passionate in helping global entrepreneurs to change the world. Judy focuses on promoting Startup Grind’s Global Conference to thousands of founders, thought leaders and entrepreneurs. In addition, she also runs the affiliate partnership and student programs. (Drop her a note to learn more!) Previously, Judy worked at Palm, Inc. (acquired by HP), Medallia and Cheil Worldwide (Samsung). Judy holds a B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley and MAM/MBA from Yale SOM and NUS. Karlie Krieger Valine, CMO Karlie is Startup Grind's Chief Marketing Officer. As the second hire ever, Karlie started with the company in 2013 and now oversees all marketing initiatives for the brand, as well as sales and partnerships. Previously, she ran national conferences and event strategy at Inc. Magazine in New York City. She now lives in San Francisco. Emma Pawlowski, Event Coordinator Emma is an Events Coordinator at Startup Grind. She is based in Manchester, England and works on the European and Global Startup Grind conferences.
