Steel City Ukuleles promotes community, entertainment, performance and education among ukulele enthusiasts in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. All players are welcome, from beginners to professionals.

All SCU players from absolute beginners to pros are invited to perform on this International event of making music on the Summer Solstice.

Where we play: there is a large shaded outdoor area to the right of the VA entrance where we will set up. (photos coming soon)
Chairs are provided.
If the weather is iffy, we will be playing in the atrium
Parking: there is a parking lot at the VA which you may use or you can find street parking. You can drop off people in front of the hospital.

3rd Thursday Jam at the Butler Airport
Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport, formerly known as Butler County Airport, 473 Airport Road, Butler, PA, USSteel City Ukuleles at the Butler Airport!
SCU Butler Jams are held in the first-floor conference room of the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport main building (right below Serventi's Restaurant).
Players of all ages, skill levels, and styles are welcome! Whether you just want to listen, sing, or play a lead line, we'd love to have you there.
Songs will be shown on the screen in the conference room, but if you prefer, you can bring your own music stand or tablet. $4.00 per person donation requested.

We will be picking, singing and playing Summer songs at the Dormont VFW.
Carrie and Sheila will again lead the songs and guide us through the setlist.
Please come prepared to enjoy a FUN evening.
The VFW is smoke free, has reasonably priced adult beverages, a great staff and of course, lots of good company! ……………and, if you want, you can even bring your own food.
