Steel City Ukuleles promotes community, entertainment, performance and education among ukulele enthusiasts in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. All players are welcome, from beginners to professionals.

Welcome to SCU North’s Meetup Site
Everyone is welcome to attend ,…
Meetups are held in Room 104 at the St. Athanasius Community Center located at 7 Chalfont Avenue, 15229 and is easy to access from both Rt.19 and I-279. The room is comfortably spacious and parking is plentiful and free. All levels of play are welcome.
Plan to arrive at 6:30 to set up. We’ll start playing at 6:45 and end by 8:30pm. This room is set up with tables and chairs
Bring your music, ukulele, music and expectation to have a good time-and we always have a good time 😊 cost is $3.00 per person.

This will also count as a rehearsal for Make Music Day, June 21st, under the Schenely Plaza Tent. Everyone is welcome to participate in this celebration of music and the summer solstice!

Join the rocking South Hills for a summer jam.. Come early to tune up, chat and have a good time.
The VFW is smoke free, roomy, with a bar a few steps away. What could be more perfect. Feel free to order food to be delivered or bring your own if you’re so inclined.
The First half of our Jam will be a partial rehearsal for the all-city Steel City Ukuleles Make Music Day (MMD) on June 21st under the Schenley Plaza big tent. All are welcome to come and play and sing to celebrate the summer solstice.
The Second part of this jam is strumming along songs with a summertime theme.

Hi SCU! Come join our group to sing and jam some good songs.
No experience needed. Everyone is welcome.
If you don’t know the chords, just sing louder. If you don’t have the music, someone will share with you.
We have a great indoor venue to play our music. Arrive at 3:30 to set up, order, and talk; we will start playing promptly at 3:45 and pack up at 5:30. Great coffee and food available! Also: BYOB.
If you want to lead a song or two, please let Kathy know before June 4th. If you want to lead for the first time, but want me to play back up with you, let me know!
