Have you ever heard of “hanami”? It’s a Japanese word that means “flower viewing”. Japan and Sweden share a long history of friendship and many aspects of the Japanese culture are all over Stockholm. Around late April, Stockholmers join the Japanese people for a Körsbärsblommans dag, the Stockholm Hanami Festival.

Let’s slow down our hectic lives and admire cherries blossoming while exchanging experiences about moving and living in Sweden.
Tip: bring some snacks, drinks, and a picnic blanket if you want to try the real hanami fika experience!
