What we’re about
Welcome to the Stockton Area Atheists and Freethinkers!
We are a group of non-believers that focuses on community involvement, social events, education and information, and activism.
Most of our meetings are held in San Joaquin County, from Lodi to Manteca -- though we occasionally join efforts with our friends in Modesto, Sacramento, and the Bay Area.
We have a number of repeating events, including "Drinking Skeptically", game night, brunch, highway cleanup, colloquium, and more.
The Stockton Area Atheists and Freethinkers has no monthly dues, and no mandatory attendance. We're just looking for like-minded people who believe in good.
Be sure to follow us on Facebook, too.
Sincerely,
David Diskin

This authorized stage adaptation is true to the novel in which Orwell depicts with great power the horrors of man’s fate in a society where Big Brother is always watching—where everything that is not prohibited is compulsory. A theatrical event that is both powerful and disturbingly provocative.
Orwell himself once said, “I do not believe that the kind of society I describe necessarily will arrive, but I believe that something resembling it could arrive. The moral to be drawn from the dangerous nightmare situation is a simple one: Don’t let it happen. It depends on you.”
Directed by Laura Dickinson-Turner.
