Dear Members and new participants,

we are building a Swiss CyberSecurity Community ( of IT Security experts end enthusiasts where we can exchange ideas, we can grow professionally and we can get in touch with the community members.

We are inviting you to an exciting cybersecurity presentation and a networking session.

About the speakers:
Michel Paschalides is a highly experienced Senior Manager in security with a background in security governance, stake assessments, Identity Management, and Attack & Penetration assessments. Michel Paschalidès has occupied different managing positions in different information technology editors, as head of the development, technical director and CTO, as well as teaching positions and proposed Postgraduate Lectures in Geneva’s University of Applied Sciences. He has participated in two research programs of European Commission FP2 and FP3 and he is presently auditing FP6-BRIDGE (Bringing RFID in Global Environment) project European researches.

Mauro Verderosa is a CISSP certified IT Security Specialist and IAM Expert: developed many years of experience with the most important IAM products. Mainly focused on the IAM area and involved in the most important projects in Europe for several customers and industries. Experienced as CyberSecurity integrator, technical PM, architect and business analyst. Senior Trainer for courses about CyberSecurity, IAM architecture, and best practices. Founder and organizer of the Swiss-CyberSecurity community.

19:00-20:00 CyberSecurity presentation given by Michel Paschalides

Michel will discuss some of the latest vulnerabilities and prevention techniques used with tools such as Firewalls, IDS, IPS and Antivirus. In this presentation, we will learn about an IT Risk Management solution called Naviga and gain insights on zero-day exploits. He will finish off the discussion with Phoenix IT, an IT solution that never dies, or better, that is rebuilt from the ashes.

20:00-20:30 CyberSecurity presentation given by Mauro Verderosa

New security threats and compliance obligations are forcing the companies to rethink their approach to SoD and to reorganize their privileged accesses to critical systems. These requirements are covered by the Privileged Access Management. During this session, we will discover how a PAM solution is replying and how it is able to decrease the total cost of the ownership for the companies.
