A meeting with a little difference as we will take in the two presentations from this year SLUGME event. (SOLIDWORKS LARGEST USER GROUP MEETING EVER!) Held last week, this year the two presentations were recorded, which will give us a better chance to evaluate these two wonderful presentations

Kam Smith - Mechanical Engineer, Army Futures Command
Kam is a Certified SolidWorks Expert and the Lead Mechanical Engineer for one the Army's prototyping labs on the Aberdeen Proving Ground, in Maryland, where the US Army does most of their Research & Development and system testing. He is also the founder and President of APG SWUG. More recently, he made it on the General Session stage at SOLIDWORKS WORLD 2018 with the 3rd fastest time in the Model Mania competition.
Maniacal Modelling Methods: Based around the SOLIDWORKS World Model Mania competition This presentation runs through User Interface Shortcuts and modelling tips to increase productivity and reduce modelling time.
Alin Vargatu - Process Improvement Consultant, Javelin Technologies Inc.
As an Elite AE and Process Improvement Consultant, Alin Vargatu is a Problem Hunter and Solver, and an avid contributor to the SOLIDWORKS Community. He has presented over 2 dozen times at SOLIDWORKS World and tens of times at SWUG meetings organized by four different user groups in Canada and one in the United States. Alin is also very active on SOLIDWORKS forums, where he launched the very popular SOLIDWORKS Power User Challenges. His blog and YouTube channel are well known in the SOLIDWORKS Community.
