Australia Day - Snorkeling with Seals in the South Coast
Details
Snorkel with seals and road trip down the coast to snorkel; visit rock formations; to jump off cliffs and swim under waterfalls. We'll be camping along the way.

Campgrounds we are using as base camp for the Saturday/Sunday nights is Meroo Head campgrounds, a beautiful secluded spot. Perfect for swimming, snorkelling, surfing, fishing, beach walking, rock pools and options to explore around Meroo Lake or Meroo Head lookout for some amazing coastal views.
Camping 150 metres from the beach, fires are allowed
Walk in camp about 50 - 250 metres, depending on spot we choose

Food wise, we can chip in for food if people want, can decide on the day. Also we are near cafes/restaurants for most of the activities.
Water, we need to bring our own water for camping

11:45am - Boat to Montague Island for snorkelling

Easier for me to coordinate our current locations. I don't really want to answer 12 calls from 12 separate cars asking for our whereabouts throughout the long weekend

Less traffic on the road and limited space at camp grounds as it's the Australia day long weekend so 12 cars takes up a lot of space and we will be severely limited to places where we can camp, unless the side of a highway seems inviting, Im not that keen on that option

Better for the environment given the distance we are travelling

Meet fellow snorkellers hence why this meetup exists and better than trying to talk to the radio or non AI car

Share the cost of petrol and possibly food/water
Seals are at Montague Island which a private charter away from Narooma. It's roughly around the $100 mark. I'll update this information soon
