We can meet here at The Uptown Charlie Cafe at 10:00am. It is directly opposite the station and close to the entry for the show.

Snorkeling at Freshwater Beach

Freshwater is a beautiful beach just North of Manly.

As it is an open beach, it will be subject to surf conditions, and would not be suitable for absolute beginners even in very calm conditions. That being said, we can have Fairlight Beach as a back up plan if it is too rough.

Oak Park to Salmon Haul Bay Snorkel.

Snorkelling from Oak Park to Salmon Haul Bay, Cronulla.

We can meet at the end of Jibbon Street at 11.00am.

This time is close to the peak of the high tide where the visibility should be at its best and the current at its lowest.

Feel free to stay around Oak Park if you don't feel confident with the snorkel to Salman Haul Bay. Or if it is rough there, feel free to walk round to Salmon Haul Bay where it is much more protected and meet us there.

Last year was indeed too rough. but we still enjoyed a snorkel at both locations, however we walked between the two.

It's an easy entry point to the right of the rock pool. We can explore here for awhile before we head off on our journey.

Once we reach our destination we can again explore for awhile then head back to Oak Park via the costal walking track.

We can grab a coffee and something to eat after at a nearby cafe. Or follow the path to Cronulla.

Come down and catch up for a Traditional Aussie Christmas at Bondi Beach. This will be our 9th year celebrating our annual Xmas snorkel at Bondi.

Over the past few years a number of us have also enjoyed a delicious Free Christmas Lunch afterwards, put on by The Bondi Surf Club.
