Video 101: How to Make Online Video Work (Uploading,Transcoding, Delivery)

Have you ever wondered how you are able to watch online videos on all your devices and it all just works? or How you could create a video site that allows users to upload and watch videos with ease? If the answer is yes join this meetup event and those questions will be answered.

This is our second meetup for Synqathon SF. Where I will be talking about how online video works, based on my latest blog post: https://blog.synq.fm/video-101-how-to-make-online-video-work .

I will explain each step of a simple video workflow uploading, transcoding and delivery. In addition to that you will learn about technologies or services around online video such as video codecs/containers , adaptive streaming (HLS), CDNs, Amazon AWS and others. Lastly, I will give a quick demo on how SYNQ's APIs make it really easy for anyone to implement online video solutions in their web or mobile app.
