Kids' / Family Open Make - Prep for Maker Faire Orlando

Details

This will be a special Kids' Open Make to prepare our "Kids Make" display for Maker Faire Orlando, which will be at the Central Florida Fairgrounds on November 10 & 11.

For this KOM we will start out in the front classroom, which is the room to the left before you get to the main work area. We will check out our display items, make some signs, and do any last-minute repairs or touch-ups.

MFO is "a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do," also known as the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth! More info & tickets here: https://www.makerfaireorlando.com/

If you have something you've made that you would like to display, especially from a previous Kids' Open Make, please bring it along (or contact me to make arrangements to drop off sooner). Write or type up the story of your creation, we will incorporate these into the display.

Be sure your name & contact info is securely attached to your item so we can get it back to you.

This is not a drop off activity. Parents must stay with their children to assist with projects. While we welcome all families, please be aware that Tampa Hackerspace is an active workshop and young children must be closely supervised at all times.
