Intro to the Babylock Embroidery Machine (Members Only)

Details
This class will cover the basics of using the Babylock Endurance (BND9) embroidery machine at Tampa Hackerspace. This six-needle embroidery machine sews at 1000 stitches per minute, will easily accept your own designs from a USB drive, and has built-in fonts and designs. We will be covering start-up procedures, maintenance, hooping, stabilizers, and design choices. Bring along a T-shirt or polo shirt, and we will each monogram or add the Tampa Hackerspace logo!
This class is for paying members of Tampa Hackerspace. Information on becoming a paying member can be found on our website (http://tampahackerspace.com/membership).
Limit 4 students.
Instructor: Melodie Stubkjaer
Melodie is an award-winning costumer, a milliner, and an occasional cosplay judge. She regularly speaks at conventions about inexpensive costuming and body positivity in cosplay; well, she did before Covid. She sews whatever strikes her fancy and loves to share the joy of creating things.
Please don't forget this evening that we have several restrictions in place related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
