Edgar Allan Poe died mysteriously at age 40 after wandering Baltimore wearing someone else's clothes. The cause of death? To this day, no one knows. Join us as we enter the mind of Poe as the light fades from his eyes to determine how he met his maker. 6-18 roles will be available, playing characters from his short stories and poems. Costumes encouraged as well as Gothic attire, or whatever you feel comfortable in. $62 all inclusive. Evening fare to be served, so invite the gents to join you. Menu info forthcoming. This is the second event of our yearlong Une Tasse de Paris celebration with JS Devivre, author of the Tea Cozy Mysteries series. We have a slew of interconnected events scheduled in 2019 culminating in a trip to Paris at which we hope you'll join us Note: These events tend to SELL OUT quickly, so jump on the phone to ensure your seat once tickets go on sale Aug 2. Reservations are a must and held with a credit card. Reservations for this event must be made by phone or in person, please do not email your request or leave a voice mail. What we're about

We are all about afternoon tea and sharing our love of it. Join us as we visit and support Southern California's tearooms, invaluable gems that are becoming rarer with each passing day. This group will seek out and host unusual tea activities and seasonal tea events, and exchange tea tips and news on tea-friendly entertainments. All are welcome to lift a cup with us. Cheers!

P.S. If you're looking for experiences out of the tea box, consider joining our sister groups, Siren School (, or Whimsicalitea ( for scads of cultural experiences
