Big Data Engineering and DevOps

Big Data is eating the world, with more Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business Intelligence Developers wanting to use and present that data. As Data and Software Engineers we need to support that need by building libraries that can be modified and deployed rapidly and, just as importantly, be trusted to do the job. Join me to see how this can be achieved with Spark using Databricks and Azure DevOps pipelines.

Darren Fuller is a Lead Engineer at Elastacloud Ltd and Databricks Champion. He started his career as a helpdesk admin after finishing his A-Levels, and has worked up from there over the last 2 decades; working across a range of industries from Children's Media to Civil Aerospace. He counts himself lucky that his hobby is also his job, and is one of those weird people who likes to document their code!
