Tech Security Fair

Suncoast Credit Union and the Tampa Bay Tech4Good MeetUp are excited to team up to host a ‘Tech Security Fair’ on 2/18 from 11-1!

Who’s invited? Volunteers with InfoSecurity Experience, small business owners and nonprofits!

What can you expect? When you arrive, you’ll stop at the Check-In table to do a quick assessment/audit on your current Compliance, Policy & Security with an Information Security Professional, and then you’ll get recommendations on which tables to visit.

The 4 topics/tables include:
o Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery – this will provide plans to ensure your business/nonprofit survives in the case of a disaster, security breach, etc.
o End Point Security – volunteers will help you understand what malware and anti-virus mean, and give recommendations on what tools you should look into to protect yourself from digital threats.
o Password Management – you’ll learn best practices to ensure you have a password that will prevent being hacked, and learn about multi-authentication.
o Information Security – learn everything you need to protect your key information and platforms, such as your Data, Websites, Internet, Wifi, etc.
