Corona Radiata--Mage: the Awakening

Details
July 22nd, 2011
Having trounced small breakaway forces from the horde besieging the Coalfire Vault, the group found themselves assailed by a far more deadly foe. Teleporting in from parts unknown, five enemy mages attacked with ferocity, nearly killing several members of the cabal. With ingenuity, healing magic, and pure force behind them, the cabal turned aside the attackers and successfully held the line until the Adamantine Arrow could safely defeat the horde above. Low Estate and Co. were successfully able to move the Invictus Mirror to another censorium in Boston, along with the many dangerous artifacts also in their possession. The wards re-powered, and the storehouse was safe for the moment, with Low Estate likely facing another demotion to an even more obscure position. Still, many questions remain. It seems likely that Asmodai sought to take the Invictus Mirror in order to steal the mind of Andrew Jordan and the secrets in held. But how did he hear of this mirror, and how did he learn its location? Why go through all the trouble of such a massive attack, only to fail? And how did these attacking mages get such power in such a short time? Now the cabal seeks their apparent master, one known as The Fabricator. What secrets will she hide?
