The Amsterdam Culture Group is about getting together and exploring the city's cultural life. This group is for people who want to take advantage of what the city has to offer and meet like-minded people in the process. We visit art collections, concerts, films, theatre, cabaret, and undertake a wide array of other cultural activities. Although there might be occasional exceptions, the primary language is usually English.

We will gather at the meeting point and board the 12:45 public ferry together to Forteiland IJmuiden. Once on the island, participants can explore the fortress through guided or self-paced discovery depending on the day’s program.

Location not specified yetFor more than 50 years, the Vondelpark Open Air Theatre has been Amsterdam’s most accessible outdoor theatre, where generations of Amsterdam residents have enjoyed the very best that the Netherlands has to offer in emerging talent and established performers every summer. Well known and beloved by many residents and visitors of Amsterdam, there is something for everyone.
Akari Bastiaens | Trio Ventissimo
Trio Ventissimo Trio Ventissimo is a trio consisting of Frederik, Roos, and Emma. Frederik plays the oboe, Roos plays the piano and bassoon, and Emma plays the harp and bassoon. They first met five years ago in the YTO (Young Talent Orchestra). Not long afterwards, Frederik joined the Codarts Lyceum, where Roos and Emma had already been attending secondary school for some time. At present, they perform together not only in the YTO but also in the JON (Netherlands Youth Orchestra). Recently, the trio took part in the Princess Christina Competition, where they won third prize in the regional final. They also received the Vondelpark Open Air Theatre Prize at the competition. What makes Trio Ventissimo special is that the musicians perform in a variety of different combinations, making each concert especially enjoyable and diverse.

This concert is for free. We ll meet at 11:20 hour at the entrance of the Van Eeghenstraat close to venue in the Vondelpark and walk to the it from there. We ll meet early to make sure that we have good spots and you can
recognize me by my yellow cap.Afterwards everyone can join me for a drink at the venue.
