The Art of Photography (US) is pleased to announce our 2021 Fine Photography Gala & Exhibition. This event will be our first Virtual Gallery Extravaganza.

No mere pandemic can stop true artists from realizing their vision. Testimony to that can be seen at the 2021 Fine Photography Gala & Exhibition, to be presented virtually at the new website TheArtOfPhotography.net between April 22 and May 31, 2021.

Drawn from a Meetup group known as The Art of Photography--US, the exhibition will feature the work of some 123 skilled photographers from across the globe. The images of gifted amateurs, storied professionals and prestigious award winners come together in this curated exhibition. Collectively, they have contributed 226 photographs, including color and black-and-white images. Groupings are by traditional genres--such as landscapes, photojournalism and abstracts--and by emotional and psychological categories--such as pleasant dreams, emotive and nightmarish.

A virtual gala will launch the exhibition on Wednesday, April 21, from 7 to 9 p.m. ET via Zoom. Presiding at the gala, Instructor/Photographer Jack Wild and Photographer/Exhibition Curator Judy M. King will offer a brief presentation on the group's program, then highlight each photograph in the exhibition and introduce the new TheArtOfPhotography.net website.
