Atlanta BitPlebs
Atlanta BitPlebs meetups are casual events geared towards helping you learn about how to get bitcoin, use bitcoin, and understand where it fits into current events. We usually have at least one presentation every meetup, along with plenty of time for socializing.
Atlanta BitDevs
BitDevs meetups are for those interested in discussing and participating in the research and development of Bitcoin and related protocols. Discussions will be technical, but are open people of all skill-levels. This is a great way to learn how bitcoin works under-the-hood!
We will have monthly FREE meetups. We additionally have focused workshops to help bring people up to speed in a classroom like setting.

Do I have to buy the book?
You can buy the book here, and we recommend buying it if you plan to keep up with the reading. However, it's up to you how you do the reading. There is an older version of the book you can read for free on GitHub, but it is many years outdated compared to the 3rd Edition we'll be discussing.When buying, ensure that you are getting the 3rd Edition and that David Harding is listed as one of the authors.
