Whether you are here to learn how to get bitcoin, how to use bitcoin in your daily life, how it fits into personal finance, or how it works on a technical level, there is something here for everyone. Join the community and #LearnBitcoinTogether!
Atlanta BitPlebs meetups are casual events geared towards helping you learn about how to get bitcoin, use bitcoin, and understand where it fits into current events. We usually have at least one presentation every meetup, along with plenty of time for socializing.
BitDevs meetups are for those interested in discussing and participating in the research and development of Bitcoin and related protocols. Discussions will be technical, but are open people of all skill-levels. This is a great way to learn how bitcoin works under-the-hood!
We will have monthly FREE meetups. We additionally have focused workshops to help bring people up to speed in a classroom like setting.

When buying, ensure that you are getting the 3rd Edition and that David Harding is listed as one of the authors.

- Field Trip: Computer Museum of AmericaComputer Museum of America, Roswell, GA
The Atlanta Bitcoin Community is taking a field trip! We'll be visiting the Computer Museum of America together on Sunday, March 10th. Let's take some time to appreciate the history of computing that came before bitcoin, and then have some drinks together afterwards at a nearby bar.
About the Computer Museum
In the past half century, computing has grown from a few gadgets to an almost universal extension of human life. Yet while computing has become commonplace, the history of its innovation is being lost every day, as ‘old’ technology is discarded, recycled or consigned to the landfill.
The Computer Museum of America (CMoA), located in a suburb of Atlanta, GA, was created to preserve this history, and educate visitors on the past and future of computing, empowering the innovators of tomorrow.
