Join fiction author Jensen Beach for a discussion of short fiction by BWW members.

Jensen Beach is the author of two story collections, most recently SWALLOWED BY THE COLD (Graywolf). He holds an MFA in fiction from the Program for Poets and Writers at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, as well as an MA and BA in English from Stockholm University. He teaches in the BFA program at Johnson State College, where he is the fiction editor at Green Mountains Review. He’s also a faculty member in the MFA Program in Writing & Publishing at Vermont College of Fine Arts. His writing has appeared recently in A Public Space, Cincinnati Review, Ninth Letter, the Paris Review, and The New Yorker, and online at Fifty-Two Stories, Tin House, N+1, Kenyon Review, Electric Literature, Lit Hub, and American Short Fiction, among others. He’s received scholarships from the Napa and Sewanee Writers’ conferences, and is one of the web editors at Hobart. He lives in Vermont with his wife and children.

For this workshop, you’ll need to read submissions posted by group members in the “Files” section (https://www.meetup.com/The-Burlington-Writers-Workshop/files/) of Meetup.com.

If you’re new to the BWW, please read this guide (http://burlingtonwritersworkshop.com/how-to-participate/) on how our process works. If you skip it, you will not be well-prepared for the workshop, and you won’t get the most out of your experience. Please also consider reading this article (http://burlingtonwritersworkshop.com/2014/08/08/on-giving-feedback/) on how to give feedback.

You can find out which writers are submitting work for discussion at this meeting—or submit a request to have your work discussed—here (http://burlingtonwritersworkshop.com/burlington/).

**Please note that we have moved! This workshop will be held in our beautiful new, fully accessible workshop space at 110 Main Street, Suite 3C in downtown Burlington. Get directions and parking information (http://burlingtonwritersworkshop.com/about/location/directions-parking/).
