Songwriting Workshop
Details
All are welcome, no songwriting experience required. Many members are lyricists only, others are instrumentalists only, and everything in between!
Songwriting prompt for November: Embracing the spirit of american thanksgiving - write a song about something or someone you are thankful for. It could be a happy memory, a decision you made, something bad that could've happened - but didn't.
Thank You - Led Zeppelin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1z4vkPWkLQ
Thank You - Sly and the Family Stone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOa5UOHdwnc
If you're feeling more cynical you could also write a "thanks for nothing" song
Don't Think Twice, it's alright - Bob Dylan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-Y3KfJs6T0
Dreams - Fleetwood Mac https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3ywicffOj4
Comment your favorite songs about Gratitude to inspire your fellow songwriters!
What we'll do:
-Discuss songwriting in a open, collaborative environment.
