Ubuntu Release Party

Details
Official start time will be 6:30, but feel free to come early. I (Kevin) will likely be there between 5:30 and 6:00 to get things started.
Ubuntu has made some very radical changes to this version of Ubuntu. The old trusted desktop is GONE! In its place is a new shell called Unity. For the first time, Ubuntu will look significantly different than Fedora, Suse, and most every other Linux distribution.
Gone also is OpenOffice. Before you panic... its been exchanged with the Oracle-Free version called LibreOffice. LibreOffice is run by the same people that made OpenOffice functional, only they are not incumbered by the corporate structure. Sun is now owned by Oracle, and so is OpenOffice. Find out what happens when OOo gets to run free.
Upstart has been more and more integrated with every subsequent version of Ubuntu. Now it is being integrated into many other distros. This verson of Ubuntu has the most updated version yet. How does it differ? Come and ask
So many changes, this upgrade could use a tour guide. David, Myself, and several others will attempt to provide a guided tour of the many new features. So, if you have attended in the past, thanks, and hope to see you there. If you have never attended the release party before, this is a great one to attend.
I hope to see everyone there.
