In this interactive meetup, hosted by Aruba Networks/ Hewlett Packard Enterprise we will discuss where we are on the IoT journey, what IT needs to consider and where are the opportunities for entrepreneurs.

Speakers:

Ron Victor, from IoTium (http://www.iotium.io), will describe a huge infrastructural gap in IoT enablement. He willdemonstrate a solution from Iotium that is addressing industrial scale IoT vertical markets. Ron is the CEO and Co-Founder of Iotium.

Tanuj Mohan, from Enlighted (http://www.enlightedinc.com), will describe how they are making IoT solutions a reality for enterprise property with smart sensors and lighting controls. As lighting experts they've focused on addressing and overcoming the key challenges to adopting IoT solutions: cost, installation projects, and integration with existing systems. With the experience of having installed smart sensors in more than 70 million sq. ft. of enterprise space worldwide, and reducing customers’ lighting costs by up to 70 percent the is a lot to learn from their experience as a pioneer in the industry. Tanuj is the CTO and Founder of Enlighted.

Prem Talreja, from The Fabric (http://www.thefabricnet.com), will set the stage with the large scale disruption with IoT. New opportunities and challenges will be highlighted. Prem is an executive with The Fabric (http://www.thefabricnet.com), a co-creator of next gen infra startups.

Prem Talreja, SVP of Marketing, The Fabric

Prem Talreja is an executive at The Fabric, a co-creator of next generation startups. Over last 3 years Prem has been involved in the co-creation of six startups, including IoTium. The Fabric works with entrepreneurs to identify new transformative opportunities and hep them build value and secure the necessary rounds to funding to execute. He has over 30 years of industry experience in senior marketing roles at public and venture backed companies.

Prem has an MBA from Duke University - Fuqua School of Business, MS and Univ of Wisconsin and BS from BITS-Pilani. He is also an Instructor of Marketing at UC Extention in Silicon Valley.

Ron has founded and led three companies to-date with successful exits. Prior to launching Iotium, Ron was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of Wireless Industrial Technologies, an Industrial IoT company providing IoT solutions for heavy industry such as Aluminum smelters, Copper tank houses and more.
