About us
The Glasgow Photography Meetup welcomes anyone who enjoys taking pictures, regardless of experience. If you are keen to meet up with fellow photographers to exchange ideas, talk about and take pictures, The Glasgow Photography Club is for you.
As a group we have a special interest in people in pictures and portraiture, as well as a comprehensive list of meetups ranging from landscape, street and anything else you care to try out. Let us know the kind of meetups you would like to get involved in, and we will try to arrange events that are of interest.
If you add your attendance to a meetup, please do remember to change your RSVP to let us know if you can no longer make the event. Anyone who fails to do this on more than three occasions will be taken off the members list.

MULTI MODEL SHOOT - THE BIG ONE

Join us at Govan Old Parish Church where we will be joined by great eclectic cast of models, There is something for everyone!The church itself is a great Victorian Gothic venue and will make a superb backdrop for photographs. There is also an attached graveyard with ancient stones. If you have an interest in photoshoots, this would be an ideal event to take pictures of models and other interesting characters.
On the day we will be working on no more than a 1:2 model to photographer ratio (usually less). This will allow lots of time with the models. A great opportunity for those who are keen to dip their toe in the water with models shoots and portrait photography, as well as more seasoned photographers. You can look forward to a wide cast of models and willing subjects to photograph. Although not strictly a tutored shoot, we will be on hand to help with setup and advise you if you need it.

As this is a large event and it mayl be more structured than our usual model days, so depending on the number of attendees we may group photographers so everyone gets an even chance working with the models.
On the day you will have access to a variety of lighting and light modifiers. Feel free to bring along any equipment of your own too.
You can book for £50 per hourly slot or a bargain £120 for the entire session (3 hours)You can pay via bank transfer (preferred) or PayPal. In either case, do let me know when you have paid.
