Celebrating Beaujolais Nouveau Day

Davy’s Tastings offer unique opportunities to sample wines from the world’s great wine producing regions and to taste under expert guidance in a convivial atmosphere. For this tasting, we will be focusing on wines specifically from the Beaujolais region of France.

On Beaujolais Nouveau Day itself, you will be guided through some delicious wines from this underrated region, giving you the opportunity to taste the very first wines of the vintage to be released. Nouveau is the best-known wine, but the 10 Crus like Fleurie, Julienas, Morgon and Brouilly offer much higher quality and we'll taste a few of these.

Ticket price includes an aperitif of the 2021 Beaujolais Nouveau, followed by a tutored tasting of Cru Beaujolais, plus a glass selected to accompany each course at supper.

Please note, seating at tasting events may be at communal tables and menus sometimes include sharing dishes.

The wines to be tasted are to be confirmed.

REFUND POLICY: The cost of this event is £70 per person which is amazing value, covers the cost of tasting, wine pairing and includes organiser and paypal/meetup fees with a non-refundable £3 fee.

If you cancel by 12:00 noon, Mon 15th Nov latest AND there is someone on the waitlist who pays for your place you will get a refund of £67 (£70 less £3 paypal/meetup fees). If we need to cancel the event due to a change in government regulations or any other reason you will get a full refund.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING VACCINATIONS: To ensure that we can offer peace of mind and comfort to our members, we kindly ask that you only attend if you have had 2 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. Please bring evidence to show proof of vaccination. We will make an exception for those with a medical condition which prevents you from being vaccinated, and then we will require sight of a letter from your GP explaining why you cannot be vaccinated. In which case we will also require proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours before the start of the event. We hope you understand that this policy is for our members' safety and wellbeing, which are of the utmost importance.
