This is where the First Turbo Thursday hike took place late June last year. Now it's time to revisit this killer climb at a more slower pace.

Ladyface is one tough climb with approximately 1200' of elevation gain in slightly over a mile without real flat areas to catch your breath - just a steady climb to the summit!

We will be starting at 6:30 pm sharp and should be able to make it to the summit well before sunset! We will take it slower on the way down as the trail is quite steep and rocky with sunlight fading quickly. This is definitely NOT a beginners' hike, but intermediates and above are all welcome!

The trail head is located approximately 8/10 miles South of the 101 freeway, on the West side of Kanan Road. Here is a photo of where to park.

What to bring: Heavily lugged hiking boots/shoes are a necessity as well as a flashlight/headlamp for the hike down. Hiking poles may be of benefit for the descent. 1-2 liters of water should be more than adequate.

The after-hike refreshment venue is the Ladyface Brasserie (29281 Agoura Rd., Agoura Hills, CA 91301) located in the "shadow" of the Ladyface mountain.

See you all there!

Please, no dogs!
