About us
The Quest leaves behind a remarkable legacy, built through the extensive and far-reaching work of Darren Brady and Adé Adeniji, who have guided thousands of gay, bi, and queer men through personal development initiatives and mental health workshops over the past 14 years.
It is with great respect and appreciation for that legacy that we are merging The Quest MeetUp group with our own community, Gay/Bi Men's Peer Support – Self Discovery, Share, Discuss. We are honoured to take forward the spirit and values that have made The Quest such a meaningful and supportive space for so many.
As we sensitively and thoughtfully organise future events, our commitment is to continue fostering a safe, welcoming, and caring environment for all members. We believe that The Quest community will be in safe and experienced hands with us. Our warm and supportive peer community has been bringing people together since 2018, creating opportunities for connection, self-discovery, mutual support, and personal growth.
We very much hope that you will join us and become part of what we have to offer. We look forward to welcoming you to our future events and sharing in the next chapter of this community together.
From Darren & Adé:
"We’re delighted to see The Quest community finding a new home with Dan and his group. Over the years, we’ve witnessed the power of spaces where gay, bi and queer men can connect, be supported, and grow — and Dan creates exactly that kind of environment. We deeply appreciate his care, integrity and warmth and we believe this will be a meaningful new opportunity for previous Quest members.
Although The Quest has closed, both of us continue to stay connected with LGBTQ communities and remain committed to working with gay, bi and queer men in our roles as coaches and facilitators. We always love hearing from past participants, so please feel free to reach out: Darren – darren@darrenbrady.com, Adé – aadeniji@me.com.
We’re excited for this new opportunity and hope many of you will benefit from the supportive space Dan will continue to nurture.”

'Hi Dan I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the group meeting on Friday night. You have created a safe and open environment and everyone seemed to respond with complete trust and joy in sharing. I haven't been in that sort of group with such a broad range of people, and it was really interesting to share such an important part of their / our lives in regards to our dads' K.L.

Gay/Bi/Queer Men's Committed (closed) Sharing Circle - Covent Garden
City Lit, Keeley Street, Covent Garden, WC2B 4BA, London, GBIntroducing the Committed Men's Therapy Group
We are pleased to offer an opportunity to join our affordable Committed Men's Therapy Group, held at City Lit College in Holborn/Covent Garden. This closed group is designed for gay, bisexual, and queer men who would like to engage in regular, ongoing group therapy in Central London. It offers the chance to build meaningful connections, develop supportive relationships, and work therapeutically alongside a familiar group of members over a six-month period.
The group meets fortnightly for 12 sessions over six months, providing continuity, trust, and a deeper therapeutic experience. Members who join are asked to commit to attending the full programme wherever possible.
Cost
The fee is £40 per session. Once accepted into the group, members are kindly asked to set up a standing order of £80 per month for six months. What to Expect
Each 90-minute session will provide a supportive, confidential, and non-judgemental space in which members can bring their own personal experiences, challenges, thoughts, and feelings for exploration. Together, we will reflect on these experiences within a familiar and trusting group environment. The group is client-led and responsive to the needs of those attending. Sessions will follow an organic therapeutic process that encourages members to be present in the moment, while also allowing space for relevant themes, discussions, and occasional workshops when beneficial.
With a limited number of regular participants, members will collectively contribute to creating a respectful, compassionate, and supportive space where everyone can feel heard and valued.
There may also be an opportunity to continue the group beyond the initial six-month commitment, subject to interest from members.Exact dates, times, and room details at City Lit College will be provided to accepted participants. Please note that our regular open Meetup groups will continue as usual alongside this programme.
About the Facilitator
The group will be facilitated by Dan Skili, a registered Creative Arts Therapist with over 26 years' experience working therapeutically with gay and bisexual men in groups, as well as with couples and individual clients.Interested?
