The Quest Wednesday (Theme: Cultivating Joy )

Needs a location

The Quest Wednesdays are bi monthly (virtual) gatherings bringing together gay, bi & queer men to pause, connect and have wholehearted conversations. The sessions are facilitated by the Quest team headed by Adé Adéniji & Darren Brady, Founders of The Quest for Gay Men.

Each week a different theme will be the focal point of the gathering. During our time together there will be opportunities to participate in small breakout groups to muse and reflect on the theme and respond to some exploratory questions.

This weeks theme : Cultivating Joy
Here is a short video of Darren and Ade talking about the theme: https://youtu.be/nt9w7aigVGs

We gather from 18.50 and start promptly at 7pm.( Participants will not be allowed to join after the group commitments at the beginning of the session have been made.) There will also be the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the facilitated part of the evening.

The gatherings will take place online, via Zoom - the web-based video conferencing tool. In addition to your RSVP on meet-up, you need to register on Zoom here:

Rising Strong™ Workshop for Gay, Bi + Queer men

Needs a location

Join us in July 2022 for Rising Strong™ Workshop for Gay, Bi + Queer Men

“The truth is that falling hurts. The dare is to keep being brave and feel your way back up” – Brené Brown

Rising Strong™ is a process based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. Her pioneering work uncovered a profound truth: Vulnerability – the willingness to show up and be seen with no guarantee of outcome – is the only path to more love, belonging, creativity and joy. But living a brave life is not always easy: We are inevitably going to stumble and fall.

The Rising Strong™ process is about what it takes to get back up and how owning our stories of struggle gives us the power to write a daring new ending.

For over 10 years Ade and Darren have been delivering specially designed programs to the gay community and they are excited to bring this popular Brené Brown program to gay, bi + queer participants.

Ade + Darren talk about The Rising Strong program (3 mins)

This program has been generously supported by the Social Enterprise Support Fund from The National Lottery. Registration places are subsidised by this grant making it more affordable for the diverse range of participants we attract.
