This Full Moon occurs with the Moon in Gemini. This means She is reflecting the light from the Sun, which is in Sagittarius. The Sun shines upon our planet with intellectual pursuit. The Moon enjoys small talk but loves to write.
Gemini is energy which can inspire us to listen to others, to discover what gems of knowledge and wisdom they have to offer and then communicate that information to others. Gemini is the original energy of ‘networking’ and of ‘multitasking’ which makes it ideal for today’s world. We can use this energy to aid us when we are involved in projects or hobbies which require communication skills, which involve writing (either creative or technical).
If you have any special communication tools, bring them to the Circle to be empowered! If you feel compelled to bring an electronic device, there are many who say ritual energy can cause difficulties. It's your choice...
What to bring:
• a piece of jewelry, a special stone, pendulum, small tool, etc. Capture some of this ritual Magick to take home and liberate into your own space!
• Bring a tool or object or image which represents the growth you wish to make in the field of communication.
• Ritual robe (Wear something special if you do not have a Ritual robe.)
• your copy of the Ritual of Lothloriёn (You may purchase or borrow one, but inform Rev. Paul in advance so he can have one waiting.)
• A donation: We need everyone to share the cost of insurance and rent for our open rituals.
Following the Ritual we will have time for a small potluck feast (of snacks). Please feel free to bring something easy to share. (If you need serving utensils, please bring them).
Ritual text: At the Full Moon we use our primary form, The Ritual of Lothloriën. The heart of Chapter Two in A Wiccan Bardo, Revisited, published on three continents, and the core of the beloved ritual of creation and initiation found in The Holy Books of the Devas we all read all of the ritual text together, allowing our spirits to soar with the exquisite imagery which captures the essence of our Mysteries. This is the Magick of one’s soul.
If you need a ‘loaner’ copy, please let Rev. Paul know two or more days in advance and he will have it waiting at the site.
Donation: The donation ‘cauldron’ will be out. Please consider a $7 to $10 contribution. We pay rent for our ritual venues and property taxes for our ritual gardens and liability insurance for all events. We must all do our part to keep the plastic “Pot of Plenty” safe from malnutrition.
In the event you are unable to make the donation, why not donate your time. Place an IOU into the pot. We always welcome help in the garden or the office. Include your name & contact information. Rev. Paul will contact you to schedule something. From dusting library books to typing to a little garden or woodland cleanup, your donation of an hour or two of help is worth its weight in golden Magick!
Timing is everything: Our Church has Members from coast to coast. Many of them start ritual at the same time to be with us and count on our start time as something they can feel. Our goal is to be there for all of our larger circle of family. Can you help?
Sacred Time begins 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. keeping conversation to a minimum, and by moving conversations out of the room which also holds the ritual space.
Sacred Space is maintained by respecting the Circle. Lay Ministers who are assisting the College of Mentors in creating and shaping the Circle are to have their setup of any altars completed prior to Sacred Time. The better the attentive mental preparation the more powerful the Magick you will have in your hands.
I am so blessed at every ritual.
Deeply enjoying the time in the garden, and in rituals with other members of the Rowan Tree Church.
I've been a Rowan Tree Church Member since 1993.
