-Deployment Gotchas: How to configure NGINX to support WebSockets

Speaker Bio:

Hi! I'm a full stack web developer and I love taking ideas from prototype to production - gnarly configs included. Currently I'm co-founder at Bytebase.io, the byte-size knowledge base for engineers. Before Bytebase, I was a software engineer at Twilio where I had the opportunity to lead the women's employee resource group. When I'm not coding, I love to hike and play tennis.

TALK 3: Using Docker for In-Memory Test Databases

Talk Description:

Unit testing is great, and in-memory databases are great for unit testing, but testing against an SQLite database when production is running Postgres or MySQL is not ideal. Docker allows us to enjoy the speed of an in-memory database while using the engine of our choice without complicated configuration.
