Alhambra Creek to Diablo View Trail Hike in Briones (5 miles) - DOGS OK

Join Mike on this gorgeous Saturday morning hike in Briones Regional Park at Alhambra Creek Staging Area in Martinez. 5.3 miles and 1000ft elevation gain. There are some steepish hills, so if hills are a challenge for you, I'd sit this one out. This will be a loop from Alhambra Creek to Diablo View Trail. Meet at the trailhead through the gate. There is a kiosk to collect $5 for parking, but there's rarely someone inside collecting the fee.

Bring water, good hiking shoes and poles. Friendly dogs are welcome on leash.Wear layers since the weather is cooling down.

We will hike at an average to slower pace (25-30 mins per mile) so we can enjoy the experience while we get the heart pumping. Please update your RSVP if you cannot attend, so as many people as possible can enjoy this hike.
