Agile Talks #17

DevPlant Cowork

Hi, Agile Talks wants to bring together people who are passionate about software development and agile methods. We will have two talks of maximum 30 minutes and after that two Open Space slots for around one hours. The event ends with a group retrospective and with some conclusions from the participants. Agile Talks is a great opportunity to both learn from other people's experiences and discuss your own topics during the Open Space. First Talk: Cristian Boldisteanu - "Why Coaching Works". We will discuss what coaching is and why it works. We will explore what it brings to the agile process and how it can change our conversations and the way we work together. About Cristian: For twelve years, I developed a 30+ person agile web development outsourcing company by bringing together technical expertise, people and agile processes. In a new chapter, I now work with individuals, teams, and organizations to improve their communication, interactions, work, and processes. Second Talk: Sorin Iordache - "My transformation from technical role to Agent of Change role". The presentation intends to explore my personal transformation from technical role to the role of an Agent of Change, and try to identify some elements that can suggest that a person is heading in the direction of this transformation. It is my belief that at least some of them are common to most of these processes. Sorin considers himself to be an Agile and People Enthusiast. In his vision that means that his is very fond of the Agile principles, and tries to implement at least some of them in his daily life, and that he offers a very high degree of unconditional trust and confidence to people.
