Did you know mountain top removal mining, air pollution, mercury contamination of streams and newborns, childhood asthma and global warming ALL stem from the same root cause – our dependence on coal-generated electricity? Shocking, inspiring and amusing all at once – this award-winning film by Jeff Barrie draws the connections and introduces us to businesses, organizations, and communities who are leading the way to a renewable future, while saving money and the environment. Some call it the best energy film in the country! Barrie now runs a non-profit dedicated to building a build a net zero nation! We’ll look at some of their web resources for outreach and teaching, and discuss action steps afterwards (film is 55 min) --$5 suggested donation, no one turned away.
