“9500 Liberty:” An Inspiring Film of a Culture War over Immigration

Details
This 2009 documentary on a struggle over immigration in Prince William County, Va., covers the impact of an "Arizona-style" crackdown which led to public outcry and was quickly repealed. It began as an "interactive documentary," allowing viewers to comment and shape coverage of the story, with new footage uploaded to YouTube. 9500 Liberty garnered four film festival awards, and its directors are now filming the Moral Monday struggle here in NC.
