Magic awaits with the Malliway Bros!
Witches, wizards, sorcerers, warlocks, enchanters, and magic-makers of all kinds will find community and fun at the Witches' Conclave. We offer workshops and rituals focusing on various aspects of witchcraft with an emphasis on being operative and results-oriented. Practitioners of all skill levels are welcome to attend our meetings, whether you're a fresh witchling just starting off or have been working the weird ways of witchcraft for ages.
We provide inclusive rituals for the phases of the moon and open celebrations for the witch's sabbats. Our classes focus on a wide spectrum of traditional and operative magic, drawing inspiration from our time in the wilds of England's west country.
The Conclave often gathers at our witch shop, Malliway Bros, located at 1407 W Morse Avenue, in the bustling Roger's Park neighborhood of Chicago.
THE WITCHES' CONCLAVE CODE OF CONDUCT
No matter our paths, what spirits we work with, or what forces we conjure, at the Witches' Conclave let's gather in peace. We are here to learn and to spread our magic and in order to do this, there are a few guidelines to follow:
-No photography or recordings of others without their permission.
-Respect other's privacy if they do not wish to share personal information, social media, email, phone numbers, addresses, or spend time outside of the Conclave.
-Do not use the Conclave as a dating pool.
-Do not solicit other members for business or money during events.
-Do not come to or become intoxicated during any classes or rituals. Drinking alcohol is accepted during social events but if it gets out of control, you will be escorted from the event. Repeated offences will result in a ban.
-Any kind of discrimination against another is prohibited. Intentional discrimination will result in a ban.
-Physical or sexual harassment will result in a ban.

Are we seeing double or is it the full moon in Gemini? It's the second thing. So get ready to make some twinsy magic with Gemini as we'll be working to unlock our darker halves. This spell will allow us to reach into the furthest parts of ourselves to free our inhibitions and hidden potential. Just be ready for some wild revelations about yourself.
This ritual will be hands on as always so get ready for some volunteer work in the circle! We will walk everyone through each step so nothing needs to be memorized and no past experience is required!6 attendees - $120.00
Malliway's Academy: Folk Magic Course IV
Malliway Bros. Spells, Charms, & Potions, 1407 W Morse Ave, Chicago, IL, USTickets for this class can be purchased on eventbrite or in the shop. There will only be a certain amount of tickets available so that the each class has more room for personal attention. Because these classes are a four-part course, it is best to attend each one or you will not be able to work through all of the class activities.
Full class course tickets can be purchased HERE for $120.
Introducing our new multi-part series of magical study the Chicago Folk Magic Course. Unlike our other classes, in these lessons we will work through a curriculum to advance with the art of folk magic from class to class. This will include homework, in-class experimentation, taking on magical disciplines, and personal attention in smaller groups.
Our fourth and final class will focus on the different roles of witches in their communities, crafting folk spells, and using each student's discipline to build their own unique practices from what they've learned. In this class we will combine what we learned to develop rituals as a group for each student's new practice.3 attendees - $10.00

Let's put away our crusty cauldrons and sizzling sigils for the night and get together in the spirit of some magical mingling for this Yuletide season. We'll enjoy the cackling company of each other through the merriment of games! Our night will begin with a little icebreaking witch-based trivia, move along with a divinatory prize-winning challenge, and then end with a spell caster's version of the Exquisite Corpse.

We've finally reached our cozy days! It's time to don the soft blankets, make warm soups, and harness the otherworldly forces of our bewitching domains. In this class, we'll be working with the magic of the home, often known as Cottage Witchery. This form of low magic deals with magic cast for domestic ease, working with hearth spirits, and even using items or parts of your home to work various forms of witchcraft!
Throughout this class, we'll be keeping ourselves busy with different magical workings to enhance our own home's magic such as making hearth powders for the spirits, protection charms, as well as a few homey magical tricks.3 attendees
