ThingsCon Salon #14 - Workshop - The Future of Mobility

Smart mobility is a hot topic. Autonomous driving, new platforms for mobility with Mobility as a Service, changing city infrastructures for bikes. The theme is quite broad. In this Salon we will take a look into the envisioned future and connect this to what is necessary to make this future for real.

We will facilitate a workshop for 10-30 people that will explore possible futures, based on a design fiction exercise. The outcomes of the sessions are concrete mobility stories visualised as advertisements of future products.

The workshop will be led by Sebastian Hølt Bak. Sebastian is an experienced design thinker from Copenhagen currently responsible for the UX discipline and IOT projects at the creative tech agency info.nl. His work in Denmark and the Netherlands has revolved around the intangibles of human-technology relations, where one of his biggest passions regarding interconnected environments resides in designing for meaningful experiences and services that are both sustainable and conductive to the everyday life and rhythm of the individual. As UX Lead for Info.nl he is furthermore responsible for mentoring designers and carrying forth the design vision and strategy of the company.
