Join us for a fascinating live virtual walking tour of BROADWAY in New York City. Learn all about Broadway and how it started. You'll hear great anecdotes about Broadway's early years full of roof garden theatres and theatrical con artists, and what it's like in modern times, including how shows are put together. There will be some ghost stories too!

Our tour will be led by Broadway actor Tim Dolan, owner of Broadway Up Close Walking Tours. We'll join Tim live via Zoom in the Big Apple.

THE TOUR: This virtual tour will explore all of the Broadway theatres at the southern end of Broadway's theatre district from 41st Street to 44th Street. Learn the true difference between a Broadway theater and an Off-Broadway theater and revel in the secrets hidden in plain sight in some of Broadway's most famous theaters. Tour-goers will hear how a show is created from the first rehearsal to opening night and all of the craziness in between. And, of course, we'll explore the spirits that may still be lurking in the shadows backstage with a few unbelievable ghost stories. With rarely seen photographs from years of research, tour goers will see Broadway's past and present merge before their eyes -- from the comfort of their own home!

ABOUT THE GUIDE: Combining his love of theatre with his experiences as a New York City tour guide, Tim is excited to share and spread the knowledge of Broadway's history and stories with you. He created Broadway Up Close Walking Tours in 2010.
