GREY MATTERS: The Forum For Open Minds

This is a niche Toastmasters Club, alternating between traditional speaker/evaluator meetings and discussion/debate meetings. Grey Matters meets every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM, at Bloomingdale Library in Valrico/Brandon. Tomorrow's meeting has a discussion format. We invite everyone to participate - there are no timer limits in the discussion, and it is open to controversy - in fact, we encourage it. The only restriction is no profanity, please. Let's keep things civil. Here is how it works: A presenter selects a topic from a list provided in advance by the Discussion Moderator, and expounds on the topic for a few minutes*, then opens the floor for general discussion. Discussions are generally 20-30 minutes. *If you wish to speak from a manual, please so advise the Powers That Be, so that we may include you on the agenda, as well as assign you a "silent evaluator" to complete his/her portion of the manual.
