This group is dedicated to building a community that supports getting people outdoors and into our natural environment.
The variety of activities that we host aim to make our wild more accessible and will showcase much of Tasmania and sometimes beyond. While a proportion of our events will cater to the moderate to experienced hiker, others will be slower paced on easier terrain and will include a handful of urban walks.
Hiking provides a range of benefits including; increasing general fitness, reducing stress, anxiety and depression, trauma rehabilitation, weight loss, heart disease prevention, decreasing cholesterol, lowering blood pressure, improving mental well-being, creating social connections, appreciation for the environment and a range of both tangible physical and mental benefits.

This walk is suitable for all fitness levels.
There are some quite steep sections but we can take our time.
It’s a good walk to build fitness.
