CaBi Hack Night VI

Details
CaBi Hack Night is a show & tell of apps and data visualizations about Capital Bikeshare. We'll be on the 12th-floor lounge of the Crystal City WeWork (https://www.wework.com/locations/washington-d-c/crystal-city). Doors open at 6:00 for pizza and soft drinks, with speakers starting at 6:30. This will be a BYOB event, if you want to bring a beer for yourself or to share (be prepared to show ID).
• Manuel Darveau will show the upcoming Apple Watch integration with 8D (https://www.8d.com/)'s mobile app.
• Jon Wergin will show how he tracked CaBi riders with GPS to show where they actually go (http://mobilitylab.org/2016/06/21/capital-bikeshare-gps-data-trips/) and how often they use bike lanes (http://mobilitylab.org/2016/06/22/capital-bikeshare-gps-riders-bike-lanes/).
• Andrew McGill will demo a bikeshare app (https://github.com/arm5077/capital-bikeshare-pebble) he coded for his Pebble smartwatch.
• Bob Kraig will share his demand prediction model for Capital Bikeshare.
• Joe Paolicelli will show how he built an API to predict (https://labs.missiondata.com/CapitalBikeshareML) bike and dock space availability using machine learning and historical bikeshare and weather data.
• Alex Rixey and Ranjani Prabhakar will share their study of CaBi trips and Level of Traffic Stress (LTS) measurements.
• Aysha Rüya Cohen (https://www.linkedin.com/in/AyshaRuyaCohen) will share the dataviz and maps she made to support her capstone project on “Equity in Motion: Bikeshare in Low-Income Communities (http://www.lewis.ucla.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/09/2015-2016_Cohen_Equity-in-Motion_Edit_August2016.pdf).”
