Because of its history, special architecture, unique climate features and wide range of beautiful spots, Dalat is known as one of the most popular tourist destinations of Vietnam. The climate in Dalat is often called ‘Eternal Spring’ for its pleasantly warm temperatures during the day and quite cool at night, down to perhaps 10oC. 1. Dalat Cable Car at Robin Hill to the Truc Lam Pagoda The cable car runs from Robin Hill to the Truc Lam Monastery ride covers 2,3km.The panoramic views of Dalat are worth the effort and Truc Lam pagoda is worth the visit. Not only is the pagoda itself stunning, but the journey there is unique as well. The trip is twenty minutes long and offers amazing views of the surrounding hills, forests, and valleys. 2. Trekking Lang Biang Mountain and Visit Lat Ethnic Minority village With an elevation of close to 2,300 meters, Lang Biang mountain is the highest peak around Dalat and is well worth a visit. The trek, depending on your fitness level, takes approximately 2-3 hours. The first section of trail is through pine forest. We continue to walk through forest paths until we see a change in foliage to broad-leaf jungle. Here you can take a short rest to gain strength for the steep uphill climb to the summit of LangBian. At the summit, you can enjoy a fruit break and then follow a ridgeline to the second highest peak of Langbian and have packed lunch. After descending the mountain, it is possible to visit the Lat Ethnic Minority village for a look at their hand-made weavings and their cultural heritage. -Mui Nei Mui Ne is a small resort town that runs 15 kilometres along Vietnam’s southern coast. Aside from the sand dunes, Mui Ne is one of the windiest places in Vietnam, therefore, windsurfing is a popular sport bringing hoards of enthusiastic windsurfers throughout the year. 3. Red Sand Dune The Red Sand Dunes fascinates tourists by its convenient resorts, and beautiful beach view. Red Sand Dunes in Mui Ne are so special. The color of sand changes constantly from yellow to white, pink and red, depending on the sunlight. It is a very interesting place for people watching as you see local women renting sleds for you to sand board from the sand dunes. Red sand dunes is good for sunset 4. Fairy Stream Fairy Stream is a photography hotspot due to its dramatic landscape of reds, whites, oranges and pinks. The landscape is absolutely surreal – a miniature mix of Cappadocia and the Grand Canyon. The stream is about ankle-deep and walk comfortably barefooted. You can climb up the red sand hills overlooking the river valley and even walk there parallel to the river. Walking upstream 20 minutes, you will reach a small waterfall into at most waist-deep water, great to take a refreshing bath before heading back! 5. White Sand Dune White Sand Dunes located 24km north of the red dunes. They are much larger than the red dunes, extending up to 20 kilometers along the coast. The deep blue lake below the entrance to the dunes and the dark green lotus plants on the shore provide stark contrasts to the white sand glistening in the sun, offering photographers delightfully starkly contrasting colors. 6. Fishing Village It is nice to see the many different colored boats (more like large, floating bowls) spread across the bay. Here the fishermen bring the catch of the day and sell these to local merchants along the beach. 7. Ta Ku Mountain, Cable Car to Reclining Buddha From Ta Ku Mountain, take the cable car to the Linh Son Truong Tho pagoda and enjoy the magnificent view before the long stairs that lead you to the biggest reclining Buddha statue in Vietnam (49 meters). ------------------------- Disclaimer, Indemnity and Terms of Participation: 1.
