Beaches, ice creams, short pants… It’s finally time to bid the long scorching summer goodbye and welcome the chilly fall weather with open arms. Famous author Jim Bishop once said, “Autumn carries more gold in its pocket than all the other seasons”. In contrast to the lush green grass and fragrant flowers of Spring, Autumn presents us with stunning shades of red, orange, and yellow. Autumn brings with her a splendid palette of rich browns, blazing reds and yellows to dress up even the most ordinary pavements. Whether you’re a city slicker or one for nature, an Autumn trip is the best time to visit Korea, and be mesmerized by the kaleidoscope of fallen leaves. Throughout October and November, you can feast your eyes on lush mountains dyed with scarlet-tinged leaves in breathtaking destinations in South Korea. These sights all offer spectacular foliage scenes and worthwhile hik...read more (https://www.threeplaygrounds.com/adventure/korea-mesmerizing-fall-foliage-2017/241?utm_source=meetup&utm_campaign=meetupteaser)

How does it feel to see underwater Buddha statues and swim with manta rays? We are heading to Nusa Penida, a relatively untouched island off the Bali coast to see the underwater Buddhas for ourselves, and visit Kelingking beach, the Broken beach, the Angel Billabong, Crystal Bay, Atuh Beach, the Thousand island, and the Teletubbies Hills.

We'll snorkel to see underwater Buddha statues in Ceningan Channel. The origin of this Buddha statues could likely have been the imitation of the Pemuteran Temple Garden.

We will then go on to try our luck to find the manta rays and swim with them.

Trip Highlight 1: SouthKabib Trail

“When you are actually there at the canyon on the trail [..] it practically leaves you speechless. Words cannot adequately describe it. [..] As nice as pictures are, even they are inadequate! They don't capture all the colors and they definitely do not purvey the magnitude of its size. The sight, the sounds, the smell, and the feel of the trail overload your senses.”

- Blogger Gene Hanson on the view from South Kaibab Trail (http://www.genehanson.com/c2003c/cany2003.htm)
