This two-day workshop is an opportunity to learn technical and practical information on shooting the photos on the wedding day. You will photograph models as bride and groom at a local church. Students will learn to maximize time, and to pose and organize the wedding party to complete photographing in that small window of time just after the ceremony. Learn about radio slaves, kicker lights, and setting up the formal group shots on the alter. Learn special effects such as side lighting, and formal portraits at the reception. Instruction also include digital camera white balance and histograms, lighting, albums, backgrounds, and special effects. .

Friday night session is all about the business of Wedding Photography: Booking, pricing, marketing, product delivery and contracts. Saturday session is how the photographer goes about shooting on the wedding day.

Schedule Friday 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. @ MPW. Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. @Clarenceville United Methodist Church
