TabRun, an innovative financing platform for the F&B industry, will launch on March 14th, hosting a 'go-live' party at Tribe Theory Startup Hostel in Ann Siang Rd.

TabRun aims to help local restauranteurs and foodies connect with each other to fund their favourite culinary projects. And the platform is already proving popular, with four initial fundraising campaigns that will launch during the event.

TabRun offers a neat solution for local restauranteurs who want to raise money to finance expansion in a legally compliant manner by designing a campaign and pitching it to its loyal customer base. Customers can contribute if they like the idea, and – here lies the twist – they will receive digital credit stored on their smartphone that they can spend at the restaurant.

The four campaigns that will go live on the platform during the event are :

ShakeFarm, offering healthy and nutritious shakes will raise S$50,000 to finance a new opening, people contributing to this campaign will get a 100% reward, meaning that for each dollar pledge you'll get 2 dollars in return to spend when the campaign is over.

Incubaker, which offers the first co-working kitchen for F&B entrepreneurs approved by the National Environment Agency (NEA) will raise S$20,000 to reward early birds, and contributors will receive a 30% extra reward.

The Muffinry, a finger licking Muffin shop on Amoy street is raising S$15,000 to remodel its location, people contributing will get a 50% reward.

Gravitea, a recently launched Bubble tea bar in the financial district is raising 2K$ to kickstart its business, people contributing will get a 50% reward.
