120th meeting, containers everywhere

Details

This meetup is dedicated to containers (but not docker per se).

Out speakers (both from Dynatrace): Łukasz Wrona and Andreas Grabner

Andreas presentation (in English): Shipping Code like a keptn: Automating your Delivery Pipelines so you can focus on code

In the last year we started a lot of new projects on kubernetes and discovered that all teams started to build their own pipelines that had a lot in common: automated quality gates, blue/green or canary deployments, automatic switching of feature flags depending on performance metrics. To consolidate we built a new open source framework that automates the orchestration of a container from first push to the registry until it ends up in production. In my session I will demo keptn (https://keptn.sh/) - its main use cases - and how it fits into existing pipelines and DevOps tools because we believe that every company has their unique set of tools and processes already which needs to be integrated.

Andreas has 20+ years of experience as a software developer, tester and architect and is an advocate for high-performing cloud scale applications. He is a regular contributor to the DevOps community, a frequent speaker at technology conferences and regularly publishes articles on blog.dynatrace.com. In his spare time he is hitting the salsa dancefloors of the world.

Additionally, as always you can expect some drinks for you to enjoy and a customary giveaway.
