Announcing a new Meetup for Twin Cities Unitarian Universalists

What: Freethought Potluck Picnic

When: Sunday, July 18,[masked]:00 PM

Columbia Park Picnic Area
800 Columbia Parkway
Minneapolis, MN 55418

FYI--This is the second of three summer picnics for humanists and atheists (sponsored by Minnesota Humanists). There's a great playground for kids, a basketball hoop, fields for ultimate frisbee, soccer, bocce ball and other games, and a picnic area for dining, board games, and lots of conversation. There was a good crowd for the first picnic, and the organizers are planning to build on that.

The picnic is a potluck. Please bring some edibles to share. The shelter has electricity and a sink.

Athletes (all levels): bring equipment if you like; last time there was badminton, bocce ball, ultimate frisbee, and basketball.

Board gamers: please let us know what games you enjoy and any you can bring

Musicians: feel free to bring a musical instrument for an impromptu jam; last time there was a hammered dulcimer.

Singers: bring music or lyrics sheets if you'd like to pull together a group for singing

COLUMBIA PARK is located on the north side of Columbia Golf Course in northeast Minneapolis.
