On the last Sunday of the month, we’ll collect donations for a pet food bank, typically benefiting Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston’s Animeals program.

You can find the collection bin at our Sanctuary courtyard drive-thru. Please bring non-perishable dog & cat food items and supplies.

### A Weekly Insight Meditation Practice

Facilitated by Rev. Jeanmarie Eck and Dr. Mary Fehr, Licensed Unity Teacher
Weekly on Mondays | 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm | Unity of Houston Chapel
Beginners and experienced meditators are invited to sit with us for our weekly Insight meditation sangha. A period of meditation, a Dharma (Truth teachings) talk and group discussions will be included in each session.
Join Rev. Jeanmarie Eck, certified Spiritual Director, and Dr. Mary Fehr, LUT, for meditation and application of core Buddhist teachings that allow us to deepen our practice and find greater peace.
Let us connect in consciousness and share this sacred time in meditation together as we grow in our understanding of these transformative teachings.

#### ABOUT THE FACILITATORS:

Rev. Jeanmarie Eck is an ordained Unity minister with a Master of Divinity from Unity Institute & Seminary, and a Licensed Unity Teacher in Adult Education. She is a Spiritual Director with a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Perkins School of Theology, and a trained SoulCollage® Facilitator. Jeanmarie also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from The University of Mississippi, where she was an instructor. Prior to joining our ministerial team in 2014, Jeanmarie served at Silent Unity, Unity Village Chapel, and Unity of New York.
Jeanmarie oversees Adult Education and Spiritual Education and Enrichment, including our Licensed Unity Teachers and Ministerial students. She serves as cofounder and coleader of Unity Moms. Jeanmarie also teaches classes and speaks regularly at our services and is a contributing author to Unity booklets. She is currently serving on the Board of Trustees for Unity Worldwide Ministries.

Dr. Mary Fehr is a Licensed Unity Teacher. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas Tech University. Mary has 30+ years of teaching experience in numerous settings from K-12 schools to higher education, to corporate Learning & Development environments. She teaches Spiritual Education & Enrichment courses at Unity, including the “Meditation Practices” course. Mary is currently employed at Unity of Houston as Director of Communications. She is also a certified yoga instructor, a Certified Labyrinth Facilitator and a Trained SoulCollage® Facilitator. Mary finds joy in teaching and empowering others on this spiritual journey called life!
