Paris Mountain State Park 5/10K Walk
Hosted by UpState PathFinders Closes 1 October 25
Details
Join us when we head to Paris Mountain State Park for a 5/10K walk that will cover some of the park's 1,540-acre that is located at the back door to Greenville, nestled in the forested foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The walk is almost entirely on dirt paths/trails and the terrain is not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers as it is a bit uneven in many places. Restrooms are available along the walk. This trail is not a typical "walk in the park" on paved streets with manicured lawns, but this gem in Greenville should not be missed for nature enthusiasts. Paris Mountain is home to a vast array of wildlife, majestic trees, and spectacular vistas. The park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A number of the park buildings were built by the CCC in the 1930s during the great depression and are a great place to picnic after a nice walk in one of South Carolina's best parks.
Trail Rating: 5K 2C/10K 3C

Registration: 8:00 am and walk begins at 8:30 am.
Cost: Walk is free; $3 for IVV Credit and donations accepted.
