This is the only 5th Tuesday of the month this winter, and I promised something a little different for such an unusual event.

So we are going to divide into smallish pace groups (4-6 people) and do "Fartleks" (Swedish for "Speed play"). I'll explain more when we are starting, but essentially it is mixing fast and slow pace. For instance you might pick up the pace for 6 lamp post, and then recover for 3, then 8 up and 4 down, 4 up and 2 down, etc.

So the workout:

o 1 mile warmup
o ~40 minutes Fartleks
o warm down
