Join us for UVic’s first-ever Spiritual Awakening Meetup! We'll be discussing different perspectives on awakening, considering some of the big existential questions, and exploring techniques for self-inquiry and meditation. Featuring exciting material from a variety of spiritual teachers, including Eckhart Tolle, J. Krishnamurti, Ramana Maharshi, Gangaji, Mooji, Adyashanti, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Alan Watts and others. Each evening will include short thought-provoking videos from some of today's most inspiring spiritual teachers, as well as passages from relevant literature. There will be plenty of time for inspired discussion, as well as some short meditations which will be accompanied by relaxing meditation music. Topics may include, but are certainly not limited to: awakening, nonduality, traditions and perspectives of awakening, self-inquiry, the implications of "I Am", mindfulness, meditation, higher self, divinity, emptiness, selflessness, love, relationships, suffering, self and society.

*Please note, the UVic Spiritual Awakening Meetup is on break until September. Please join the Facebook group for access to past material, including quotes and videos, and you're welcome to share anything you feel is worth sharing as well. There is also a list of recommended books in the discussions section of this site. Have a great summer, and see you in September! :)
